- Lab – Owl Pellets
- Groups of 2 students will be given an owl pellet, 2 pans, 4 skewers and a listing of discoverable bones
- After a Demonstration by Mr. Hodder Students will Begin Dissecting the Pellets, Pulling off the Fur and Separating the Bones
8th Grade
- Chapter 16, Section 1 – A Solar System is Born
- Read and Discuss Pgs. 475-479
- The Combining of Hydrogen to Helium and the Release of Energy in the Sun
- The Inner vs The Outer Planets
- Section Review Pg. 479
- Brainpop – Sun (watch the video, take the quiz and email Mr. Hodder the results)
