Assignment/Activities Today – Minimum Day

7th Grade

• Continue Lab – Owl Pellets
• Groups of 2 students will be given an owl pellet, 2 pans, 4 skewers and a listing of discoverable bones
• Today students will start placing bones into a pattern that will eventually resemble a complete animal skeleton

8th Grade

• Chapter 16, Section 1 – A Solar System is Born
• Solar System Proportion – Map Out the Solar System Outside with Students Portraying Each Planet
• Ratio of Astronomical Units to Meters
• Brainpop – The Solar System (watch the video, take the quiz and email Mr. Hodder the results)
