• Complete Lab – Owl Pellets
• Groups of 2 Students will be Given an Owl Pellet, 2 Pans, 4 Skewers and a Listing of Discoverable Bones
• Continue the Placement of Bones into a Pattern that will Eventually Resemble a Complete Animal Skeleton
• If Lab is Complete and Time Remains Students are to Work on any Missing Assignments

8th Grade

• Review the Planets of our Solar System
• Focus on the Jovian Planets (Gas Giants)
• Continue The Planets of Our Solar System Presentation
• Slide 1 (Title Slide) – Title & Your Name
• Slide 2 (Title, Bullet & Photo Slide) The Sun
• Diameter, Period of Rotation, Core Temperature, Surface Temperature and a Picture
• Slide 3 – 11 (Title, Bullet & Photo Slide)
  • Each slide represents a planet and should include:
• Planets Name, Distance from the Sun, Period of Rotation, Period of Revolution, Surface Gravity Compared to Earth, How Many Moons it has, When it was Discovered, One Interesting Fact of Your Choice & A Picture of Said Planet
