Assignment/Activities Today

7th Grade

• Lab – Owl Pellets
• Groups of 2 students will be given an owl pellet, 2 pans, 4 skewers and a listing of discoverable bones
• After a Demonstration by Mr. Hodder Students will Begin Dissecting the Pellets, Pulling off the Fur and Separating the Bones

8th Grade

• Chapter 16, Section 1 – A Solar System is Born
• Read and Discuss Pgs. 475-479
• The Combining of Hydrogen to Helium and the Release of Energy in the Sun
• The Inner vs The Outer Planets
• Section Review Pg. 479
• Brainpop – Sun  (watch the video, take the quiz and email Mr. Hodder the results)
• Note After School Retakes Will Not be Occurring on Tuesday May 8th and May 15th.  Instead They Will Be On Monday May 7th and 14th
